What did you do to work out of the pit? I challenged myself with other questions and I used them to work out the answer to an other question to prove it.

This is my research that I have been doing with a buddy named Amy. Amy and I have found out some things about places and schools that support the people with a disability. We have been researching for weeks. Our teachers have taught us these stages. Get it, Sort it, Use it. We are now up to the use it part but we still have some questions to ask.

We are up to the Use it part that is why we are showing you all the questions that we have answered and if you would like to know them. Here is a picture of what our questions were and what research we have done to figure them out.

How the Kiwi Writing

Her is some writing that we have to write. We got this peice of writing and the idea from a show. Hope you enjoy reading it.

The Biggest Fish I Ever Caught

"Mum", I say "I've caught an enormous one!".  "Wow!", Mum screams.  "We are going to have a big dinner tonight".  "No", I say.  "Why not" Mum says in anger.  "Because it is an adult and it might have babies".  Mum threw it in the sea.  But she does not clutch on to it with a wet towel! "Oh no".   "What?" says Mum. "You rubbed off the protection of the fish! You have made it have a disease and then it will spread all around the fish and we will not be able to catch any more".
 "Do it yourself" Mum says in irritation.

Mum arranges the fishing rod to a perfect position.  "Where is Dad." I ask.  "He has gone swimming" Mum says, still annoyed.  Mum hands me the fishing rod.  I  cast it out into the water. "Feeling anything?".  Mum shouts over the huge crashing of the waves.  "Sure am" I say excitedly. I heave out an enormous fish.  My mouth is open wide.  Mum gasps.

It's Dad!  Dad has got a hook stuck up his nose!  "Well, we will not be using that hook again will we!

Te Reo Maori Poster

W.A.L.T: Communicate a Message

Description: We have been participating in 3 different workshops around colour, compositions and fonts.  We put these skills to use in a poster sharing our knowledge about Te Reo Maori.

Purpose: We are doing this so other people can look on my blog and learn the maori words themselves.

Process: We had to go to at least three workshops to work on one thing that would be a good idea to put into our post.

Learning: The learning was to make sure that you understood what they meant in maori and what they were.


Message: My message is clear and purposeful.  Everything that is on my poster and relates to my message. 👍
Composition:  My poster needs to be balanced.👍
Font:  My font is clear, readable and suits the message. 👍
Colour:  I have used 2-3 colours that are complementary.  My background choice makes the text pop!👌
Accuracy:  All of the words on my poster are spelt correctly.👍

1-What are you most proud of and why? I am most proud of making a poster of Maori greetings because I do not know much Maori.

I think I was a green target because I had a very good layout and colour.

Feedback/Feedfoward: That looks like a very nice layout. But I think you should check your spelling before you post it. Mum

2-What challenged you the most and why? What challenged me the most is learning how to say them and how to write them down because it's not normal to how I write it.

3-Next time, what is a goal you can work towards? I think I could work on making the poster on a different app or device because I use pic college all the time for my posters.
